Reem Island has some incredible construction projects underway. This is the very first mega project to be developed on a natural island and will be an ecologically friendly development. Currently the master plan for the island calls for 200 towers which will be home to mixed use of residential, business, cultural and medical. Under construction is a multi-lane bridge which will connect Reem to Abu Dhabi city center.

Marina Square - To be completed in 2009, will be 79% residential and 21% commercial developments. The area will be landmarked by the circular marina surrounded by 15 towers. The marina will cater to yachts and will also have a 5 star hotel on its shoreline. Marina Square will also feature many other recreational activities such as sport centers, parks, cinemas and shopping.
